The meeting aims to provide an integrated view for a comprehensive understanding of the following topics:

  • Physiological role of RBP proteins in vivo and the potential mechanisms that may lead to neurodegeneration;
  • Identification of the RBP molecular targets and consequences of RNA metabolic defects in human neuropathology;
  • Disease models that replicate the sporadic as well as the hereditary characteristics of the neurodegeneration in vivo;
  • Connections with the clinics;
  • Connection with human genetics

Preliminary Programme

Medical practitioners and basic science researchers in neurodegenerative diseases, PhD and post-doctoral students in related topics are welcome to attend.
