Thierry Latran Foundation funds ICGEB research in ALS
E. Buratti receives funding from the prestigious Tierry Latran Foundation for his research on the role of hnRNP proteins in Amyotropic Lateral Sclerosis
Under the 5th call for projects, the Thierry Latran Foundation, the first and unique European Foundation dedicated to ALS and protection of motor neurons research, has awarded one of a total of six grants to Emanuele Buratti, Joint Group Leader of the Molecular Pathology Group of ICGEB Trieste for a research project recognized for its potential therapeutic benefit in sporadic ALS, for an amount exceeding Euro 120,000.
Over 90 abstracts were received under the funding initiative from 14 different countries, as indicated in the pie chart below:
