ICGEB Bioinformatics Course, 25-30 June 2012
ICGEB held its annual Bioinformatics Course in Trieste from 25-30 June 2012
Among the most popular training activities of the Centre, the bioinformatics courses held at ICGEB Trieste have one of the longest standing bioinformatics teaching traditions in Europe, with training offered to approximately 1000 students in the ICGEB network. The programme offers lectures and practical sessions on biological sequence analysis as well as an introduction to the major bioinformatics services available worldwide.
Participation is free for selected applicants from ICGEB Member States. This year the course has again received over 200 requests for participation worldwide, and selected students and young scientists from Algeria, Argentina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Colombia, Costa Rica, Egypt, Hungary, Iran, Italy, Nigeria, Pakistan, Peru, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovenia, Tunisia, Turkey and Venezuela will be participating in this unique training opportunity.
