Facilities

The Cape Town Component contains advanced training laboratories, research laboratories, a shared research bioexperimentation facility, bulk store, equipment room, lecture theatres, library and seminar and meeting rooms.

Shared equipment and facilities in the ICGEB and University of Cape Town include:

- an Imaging facility,
- a DNA synthesizer facility,
- a Viral Vector production facility,
- FACS facility,
- a Radiation laboratory,
- a sequencing facility,
- Genomics and Proteomics facilities, at the Centre for Genomics and Proteomics located in the same building.
